The Role

We are looking for a 3D artist to own the production of Trading 212's 3D brand world behind our 2026 visual identity. You will model, texture, and optimize animation-ready assets from approved concepts, storyboards, and banner briefs, working closely with our design and motion teams. This is a production role. You are the person who turns creative direction into finished, on-brand 3D. The 3D brand system is new, so you will help define how it is built and shipped, not inherit a fixed pipeline.

You will own the 3D craft for a brand identity seen by a large, growing user base, with a clearly scoped specialist remit rather than being spread thin across everything. You will work alongside an experienced graphic and motion design team, get real creative latitude inside the system, and have direct influence over how the new 3D look is produced from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Model and texture 3D assets from supplied concepts, references, and storyboards
• Author and maintain custom materials and textures for the brand system
• Optimize geometry, topology, and materials so assets animate cleanly and render fast
• Produce a steady, predictable flow of production-ready work
• Hand off clean, animation-ready assets to the motion team, and keep the pipeline tidy (templates, naming, render presets)
• You will work in Cinema 4D with our Redshift render pipeline.

What you'll need

• Cinema 4D at professional proficiency
• Redshift (or a comparable render engine): lighting, look-dev, and render optimization
• Custom material and texture authoring
• Clean topology and asset optimization for animation
• Ability to take a concept or storyboard and deliver an animation-ready 3D scene without daily oversight
• Comfortable working from the team's creative direction and delivering it at a steady production pace

Nice to have

We will train or work around these, but they are a genuine plus:

• Rigging (skeletons, controls, clean weight-painting) so assets arrive animation-ready and reduce back-and-forth with the motion team
• Substance Painter for texturing
• Houdini for procedural asset generation (geometry, patterns, distributions, dynamics) that can be brought back into the C4D pipeline
• Python or expression scripting for pipeline automation
• AI-assisted asset and texture iteration ( Meshy , Substance Sampler + AI )
• Motion experience, also with simulations (dynamics, particles, cloth)
