job summary:
Seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer for a high growth defense contractor in the Indianapolis, IN area.

The Engineer would be responsible for developing advanced simulation models, validating designs, and collaborating across disciplines to advance research and product development in cutting-edge aerospace technologies.

6 years of experience in modeling, actuator systems and MATLAB/Simulink tools is required for the role.

responsibilities:

• Model Development: Create and validate multi-domain, physics-based simulations for mechanical, thermal fluid, and actuator systems.

• Experimentation: Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups and experimental testing to improve model accuracy and validation.

• Systems Integration: Facilitate the integration of controls and actuators for comprehensive system-level performance analysis.

• Collaboration & Leadership: Lead interdisciplinary global teams and mentor junior staff to promote innovation and modeling best practices.

• Documentation: Generate analysis reports, verification artifacts, and technical documentation to maintain compliance and traceability.
