Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Location: Plano, TX

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Type of Employment: Direct Hire

Compensation: $65000 – $75000 / Year

Industry: Commercial Real Estate / Property Management

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations of a high-profile commercial property. This role combines financial oversight, tenant relations, and operational coordination to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard while delivering an exceptional tenant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support annual budgeting efforts and assist with ongoing financial forecasting and reporting
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions related to tenant billing and vendor payments
  • Conduct routine property walkthroughs to ensure building conditions meet established standards
  • Respond to tenant requests and service needs in a timely, professional manner
  • Investigate and help resolve operational or tenant-related issues, coordinating appropriate solutions
  • Assist with vendor management, including bid coordination, contract administration, and relationship oversight
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to maintain efficient property operations
  • Contribute to the coordination of capital improvements and tenant improvement projects
  • Deliver a high level of service to tenants and stakeholders, maintaining a professional presence at all times

Qualifications:

  • 2–3+ years of experience in property management or a related field
  • Background in commercial property management preferred; multifamily experience considered for more senior titles
  • Familiarity with financial processes such as budgeting, reporting, and account reconciliation
  • Experience with lease administration and property management systems (Yardi or similar preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service in a professional environment
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, and property-related projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with high-profile tenants and stakeholders
