Hiring: Retail Cleaner — Greenwood, IN (Commercial Cleaning + Window Washing)

ABOUT THE ROLE
North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring an experienced cleaner for recurring commercial cleaning and window washing at a retail store inside Greenwood Park Mall. This is occasional, per-project work — not steady weekly hours. You work independently on site, follow our checklist, and check in and out through our app so the job is tracked and you get paid fast.

LOCATION
Greenwood Park Mall — Greenwood, IN 46142

THE JOBS

1) Commercial Cleaning
Pay: $70 per visit
Time on site: about 1.5–2 hours (average for beginners — can sometimes take less)
Schedule: Monday, June 29, 2026 — 6:00 AM start

2) Window Washing
Pay: $45 per visit
Time on site: about 1–1.5 hours for up to 10 windows; more windows means more time
Schedule: Monday, June 29, 2026 — 6:00 AM start

This date and time are set and will not change. Only apply if you can be on site Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:00 AM.

Combined trip: about 2.5–3.5 hours total — $115 for the visit when both are done together.

PAYMENT
Each job is paid separately, per store. Photos, check-in, and check-out must all be completed — if they're skipped, it slows the whole process down. When everything's done right, payment usually lands within 24–48 hours. The goal is same-day, once the work is confirmed and the store manager is happy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is the basic scope, but duties are not limited to just these — some jobs may include other related tasks.

Commercial Cleaning: Sweep, dust mop, and vacuum all floors including corners and edges. Mop hard floors. Remove gum, stickers, and debris. Dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents. Wipe down counters and display cases. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean and disinfect the restroom if present.

Window Washing: Clean entry door glass inside and out. Polish handles, sills, and doorplates. Remove spider webs, gum, debris, and tape. Squeegee and detail all glass edges and corners. Wipe ledges dry.

SUPPLIES NEEDED (if you bring your own — earn a bonus)
Bring supplies for both jobs: $10 total bonus per visit. One job only: $10 commercial / $5 window. North Co can also provide everything — no bonus, totally fine either way.

Commercial: Mop and bucket and/or flat mop with extra pads, broom and dust pan, dust mop (optional), all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, restroom cleaner.
Window: Professional window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, scraper or razor, bucket.

DRESS CODE
Slip-resistant shoes required — we'll help you get a pair if needed. Clean, plain blue or black shirt (branded North Co shirt provided at 3 months). Gloves optional. Jeans or non-athletic shorts — no rips, no sweatpants, nothing revealing. Jewelry minimal. Hat on or hair tied back. Arrive clean and presentable.

REQUIREMENTS
Prior cleaning experience — commercial or residential, as long as you know how to clean.
Window washing experience with a scrubber and squeegee — required for the window job.
Reliable personal transportation — if your vehicle breaks down often or you share it, you'll need a backup plan.
Strong communication — checking in, responding, keeping us updated. This is number one.
Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening.

PACE / THE SERVICE WINDOW
The store gives a set access window. Be fast but keep the quality high. If you can't hit the window solo, bring a helper or North Co adds a second person — just tell us ahead of time.

COMMUNICATION
This is the most important part of the job. Check in, respond, and keep us updated throughout. Reliable communicators get first pick of new jobs as they open.
