Job Description

TRP Infrastructures is seeking a detail-oriented Controller Assistant to support the accounting department with daily financial operations. This role involves assisting the Controller with financial data management, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation, and supporting compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, be proficient in financial software, and possess excellent organizational skills.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management review.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.
• Perform data entry and verify accuracy of financial information.
• Support payroll processing and other accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
