Job Description

Our client, a startup building infrastructure for wholesale trade, is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join its team.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on role for someone with 3 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or solutions engineering within a technically complex SaaS environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ERP integrations, accounting workflows, and operational processes-and is proactive about driving customer outcomes and expansion.

What you'll do:

  • Own a portfolio of 70 100 accounts, driving payment volume, retention, and expansion
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand customer workflows and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead executive conversations with CFOs, Controllers, and operators through QBRs and ongoing engagement
  • Drive adoption of key features (e.g., auto-pay, collections automation, credit insights)
  • Monitor account health and proactively address risks with structured action plans
  • Partner with Product to translate customer feedback into actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve internal workflows and customer outcomes

What they're looking for:

  • 3 5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Solutions Engineering in a complex SaaS environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems or ERP-integrated products (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
  • Background supporting non-technical customers (e.g., distribution, food service, blue-collar industries)
  • Strong communication skills with experience leading executive-level conversations
  • Highly curious, discovery-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
  • Experience at a Series A C startup; early post-sales hire is a plus
  • Familiarity with fintech, payments, AR, or automation tools is preferred
  • Hospitality or food & beverage background is a plus
