Florist & Retail Associate – Gjusta Goods & Flower Shop
$23–$27 per hour (DOE)
Gjusta Goods & Flower Shop is a curated retail space dedicated to goods for cooking, gathering, and living. Located just steps from Gjusta Bakery, the shop brings together handmade ceramics, locally produced linens, pantry staples, vintage clothing, homewares, and seasonal flowers sourced from local farms.
We are seeking a Retail & Floral Associate to support the shop's daily operations. This role combines retail service, floral support, and operational tasks, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, beautiful products, and seasonal flowers in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide warm, knowledgeable service and build relationships with guests
Maintain familiarity with retail products and their stories
Assist with receiving deliveries, inventory, and order fulfillment
Process POS transactions and assist with opening/closing duties
Maintain a clean, organized shop floor and workspace
Assist with daily shop operations and team collaboration
Qualifications
Previous retail experience required
1–2 years of floral, nursery, or plant-related experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Interest in flowers, design, home goods, and hospitality
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
