Personnel Plus, Inc. NAMPA is now hiring an  In-Air Flight Assistant – Wildfire Prevention

• $27.00 p/h
• Approximately 2–8 weeks (Temporary)
• Hours and work days will vary
• Must be available 7 days per week for the duration of the assignment
• Dispatch out of Caldwell, ID
• Available daily between 8-8:30 am via Google Meet
• Typical flight call-outs are 4 to 6 hour shifts- weather dependent
• Standby pay offered for non-flight days

Duties:

• Support aerial missions that contribute to wildfire prevention
• Assist the flight crew by recording flight information and maintaining accurate documentation during flight
• Perform data entry and operational recordkeeping
• Load and unload aircraft materials and equipment
• Assist with aircraft preparation and other flight-related tasks as assigned
• Support safe and efficient flight operations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Report for flight assignments as scheduled
• Call in daily at scheduled time to check flight status and scheduling
• Be available to report to the dispatch location within 30 minutes of being called
• Attend a daily flight briefing each morning seven (7) days per week, throughout the assignment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Available to work 7 days per week during the assignment, including attendance at the 8:30 a.m. daily flight briefing .
• Ability to pass a background check and required drug and alcohol screening
• Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move safely throughout a small twin engine aircraft during flight
• Comfortable flying in a small aircraft and working in varying weather conditions, including turbulence
• Technically savvy with strong computer skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record operational information
• Must be able to report to the dispatch location within 30 minutes of a flight call-out
• No alcohol consumption within 8 hours of any potential flight call-out
• Maintain a professional demeanor and follow all safety procedures
• Due to the nature of our client’s business, selected candidate must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before beginning the assignment
