Job Description

We are seeking plastics machine operators to join our 1st shift operation for immediate hire! Machine operators will be working in a plastic or extrusion clean room environment. We provide extensive and supportive training to get you up to speed on our machines.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Process Technician to set up and operate injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment to meet departmental Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to select, position, install, and secure molds and equipment; adjust machine settings to complete mold setups accurately and efficiently in accordance with specifications and standards.
• Install and remove molds using appropriate hand tools, clamps, bolts, hoists, lift carts, and manual and electric hoists.
• Prepare and mix resin materials, colorants, and regrind according to established formulas and processing requirements. Clean out and set up material handling equipment.
• Operate injection molding and automated assembly equipment in parallel with the molding cycle as required to support production flow.

Essential Skills

• Must have 2+ years of experience within the injection molding industry.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in machine operation and preventative maintenance.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience with plastics injection molding, tooling, and documentation processes.
• Mechanically inclined with preventive maintenance skills for injection molded plastic parts.

Shift Schedule

• 1st shift is 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
