About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to develop engaging, learner-centered training programs and digital learning experiences. This role will partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement effective instructional materials that support organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with learning science expertise and thrives in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop engaging eLearning courses, instructor-led training, and blended learning programs
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into clear, interactive learning experiences
• Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM to guide development processes
• Create storyboards, scripts, assessments, and multimedia content
• Develop interactive modules using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, Rise)
• Conduct learning needs assessments and performance gap analyses
• Measure training effectiveness through evaluations and data analysis
• Revise and update existing training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Ensure content aligns with branding, accessibility standards, and learning objectives
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design or corporate training development
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex information into engaging content
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or related field
• Experience designing technical, compliance, or software training programs
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with video editing or multimedia production tools
• Background in corporate, healthcare, technology, or higher education environments
