Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality learning materials including:
eLearning modules
Facilitator and learner guides
Job aids and handouts
Microlearning content
PowerPoint presentations
Video scripts
Knowledge base articles
Translate complex federal and state election laws and administrative procedures into accessible, engaging training resources.
Develop interactive eLearning using Adobe Captivate and Adobe Learning Manager.
Build and organize knowledge base content using Zendesk.
Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Smartsheets to develop materials and manage project workflows.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and local election offices to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of content.
Support both in-person and virtual training delivery sessions.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting defined deadlines.
Contribute to continuous improvement of statewide election training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or adult learning.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Captivate and Learning Management Systems.
Experience developing structured knowledge bases (Zendesk preferred).
Excellent writing, editing, and visual design skills.
Ability to simplify complex regulatory or technical information into clear instructional content.
Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
Experience supporting both virtual and in-person training environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in government, public sector, or compliance-driven environments.
Familiarity with election administration processes or civic systems.
Knowledge of Agile or structured content development methodologies
