One of the OpenTech Alliance solutions is StorageTreasures.com, we make storage auctions simple.

In 2011, StorageTreasures revolutionized the way in which the contents of self-storage units are marketed and publicly auctioned after the lessee failed to pay rent. The site fills the gap between the operational systems that the industry currently utilizes and the public buyer who may be interested in the contents of a unit that is going to auction. The tools StorageTreasures provides allow the storage industry not only to comply with, but also to exceed the intent of state laws governing the self-storage industry, protecting tenants and bidders alike, and we are growing.

About the Role As a Junior Application Software Engineer at OpenTech Alliance, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to the development of end-to-end systems. With at least 3 years of full-stack software development experience, you'll be responsible for assisting in the design and architecture of systems. You should also have at least 1 year of experience in mobile app development for Android and iOS, along with some familiarity with Node.js and React.js coding. Your adaptability and innovative mindset will be key to success in this role. Experience with eCommerce and auction software is a plus.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and architect end-to-end systems.
• Gain hands-on experience in mobile app development for Android and iOS.
• Work with Node.js and React.js to contribute to coding efforts.
• Thrive in an environment where change is constant, and innovation is encouraged.
• Develop skills in utilizing the Expo framework and Firebase for app development (preferred).
• Learn from experienced engineers who have worked on enterprise applications (preferred).

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in mobile app development for Android and iOS.
• Some coding skills in Node.js and React.js.
• An adaptable mindset and a willingness to embrace change and innovation.
• Interest in learning and potentially working with the Expo framework and Firebase for app development (preferred).
• An eagerness to gain experience in enterprise applications (preferred).
• Experience with eCommerce and auction software (a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
