Tasks
- Develop and maintain backend services for mobile applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful APIs to support mobile applications, ensuring data flows efficiently and securely
- Collaborate with front-end mobile developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services with mobile interfaces
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices
- Participate in code reviews, applying feedback to continuously improve coding skills and standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in backend services and API interactions
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks and bugs in the backend system
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, particularly in mobile backend technologies
- Engage in technical discussions, asking questions to enhance understanding of mobile backend systems and Java development
- Work closely with senior developers, mobile developers, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in software development, particularly in Java backend development in RESTful API implementation and backend system integration
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API implementation and backend system integration
- Previous exposure to mobile application backend systems is a plus
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles and hands-on experience in building APIs.
- Exposure to version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, and basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Salesforce.com / core and CRM system knowledge is a plus
- Professional usage of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
