This work is all about continuity and awareness, helping users see where data has been, what state it is in now, what changed along the way, and what actions are already in motion. It is a strong fit for an engineer who likes building practical software with a clear user purpose and direct mission value .

  • Help track state transitions and historically significant characteristics across workflow-driven data.
  • Work with system engineers and other technical teammates to translate functional needs into reliable software solutions.

Experience with MapReduce tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Pig. Experience with HDFS. Experience with serialization methods such as JSON or BSON.
Required Skills

  • Ability to develop new features and improve existing software based on user and system requirements.
  • Experience debugging software issues and resolving defects in operational environments.
  • Experience integrating software into existing systems or evolving mission workflows.
