Landscape Architect
An award-winning, multi-disciplinary A/E firm based in Northern Virginia is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, collaborating with architects, engineers, and planners in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic paired with creative design thinking and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program required.
Professional Landscape Architect licensure preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Land F/X, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
Contributes to proposal preparation, supports client communications and presentations, and assists in managing projects from initial concept through construction administration.
Takes on project management responsibilities as experience allows, including coordinating internal team members and external subconsultants, assisting with contract discussions, overseeing schedules and budgets, supporting invoicing, and helping manage staffing needs.
Exhibits strong organizational capabilities along with clear written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
Supports firm-wide marketing initiatives and participates in targeted business development efforts for specific projects.
Possesses solid plant knowledge, including identification and design application of woody and herbaceous species suited to the Mid-Atlantic region.
Highly self-directed and capable of balancing multiple assignments while contributing to the firm’s continued growth and success.
Familiarity with 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp and Lumion is advantageous.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience required.
