Medical Office Assistant (Clinic)

Charlottesville, VA | $22-24 USD/hour

A Day in the Role:

• Supporting the Provider with managing daily patient flow and being the liaison between the Provider and Patient
• Monitor the clinic messages from patients and communicating the information to the provider and relaying responses back to the patients
• Rooming patients and making sure they are ready for the next visit
• Adding in any doctor's notes to the patient records
• Register patients, completely documentation from their charts, and put in orders and prescriptions
• Provide patients with discharge and follow up information, schedule next appointment
• Collect Co-pays

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in Clinical or Medical Assistant
• MA Registration
• Diploma or GED required
• EMR experience preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlottesville, VA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
