Job Title: Microsoft M365 Migration Architect

Location: 100% Remote (USA)

Employment Type: Contract

Visa Status : USC

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft M365 Migration Architect to lead and design enterprise-wide migrations to Microsoft 365 cloud services. This role requires a true architect with hands-on experience designing and executing large-scale migration programs across complex enterprise environments. Candidates must have genuine architecture-level experience, not just administration or support experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience designing and leading migrations from on-premises environments (Microsoft Exchange Server, file servers, and legacy collaboration platforms) to Microsoft 365.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 tenant architecture, licensing, identity management, and hybrid cloud design using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Extensive experience migrating and implementing: Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft OneDrive.
• Ability to develop comprehensive migration strategies, including discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, coexistence, cutover planning, rollback strategies, and post-migration support.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft security and compliance capabilities, including Governance, DLP, Retention Policies, eDiscovery, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API automation.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 migration programs across large organizations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience as an M365 Architect. Experience leading enterprise cloud transformation and migration initiatives.
