Hiring: Palo Alto Firewall Engineer – Oil & Gas Domain (Onsite – USA)

Location: Onsite – USA
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

We are looking for an experienced Palo Alto Firewall Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, OT/IT security, and Oil & Gas environments . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, securing, and managing enterprise network security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Design, deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto NGFW (PA-Series / VM-Series)
✅ Manage Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall operations
✅ Configure Security Policies, NAT, Routing, Zones, VPNs, and Security Profiles
✅ Implement Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, WildFire, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware
✅ Configure User-ID, App-ID, Content-ID security controls
✅ Manage GlobalProtect and IPSec Site-to-Site VPNs
✅ Troubleshoot firewall, VPN, and network security issues
✅ Support SOC teams with firewall logs, investigations, and incident response
✅ Manage Fortinet Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN & SD-WAN
✅ Work with OT/ICS/SCADA teams for IT-OT network segmentation
✅ Support Oil & Gas environments (Refineries, Pipelines, Terminals, Drilling sites)
✅ Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443 standards

Required Skills:

10+ years Network Security experience
6+ years hands-on Palo Alto Firewall & Panorama experience
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, VPN, Packet Analysis
Experience with SIEM integration and security monitoring
Hands-on Fortinet Security experience
Exposure to Palo Alto VM-Series in AWS/Azure is preferred
Knowledge of Zero Trust / SD-WAN security is a plus
Oil & Gas / Energy / Utilities experience required

Preferred Certifications:
PCNSE | PCNSA | CISSP | CISM | IEC 62443
