RECRUITER - Part Time

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE RECRUITING ROLE:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• One year Recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition experience required
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices is ideal
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously
• Proficient in Google applications and applicant tracking systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RECRUITER:

• Partner with Directors and HR Team to understand staffing needs and position requirements
• Draft and post job advertisements on job boards and social media
• Source candidates using online databases, social media platforms, networking, and community outreach
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews with Directors
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and Directors
• Conduct reference checks and assist with background screening processes
• Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate documentation
• Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Assist with onboarding paperwork when needed
• Lead recruitment initiatives such as job fairs and community hiring events
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
