This role involves furthering the organization's reputation as a prominent thought leader and managing a professional development program that has shaped nearly 5,000 transportation professionals. The candidate will ensure the client's continued relevance and efficacy in the transportation sector by leveraging diverse revenue streams and fostering collaborations with public and private entities. Key responsibilities include working closely with the Board of Directors to create and implement policy initiatives and industry training programs, while securing necessary financial support. The President and CEO will uphold the client's reputation in Washington, D.C., and enhance its credibility through new strategies and digital resources. Additionally, this role encompasses strategic leadership and management, ensuring the fulfillment of the strategic plan, managing resources responsibly, and protecting the financial and ethical standing of the organization. The President and CEO will lead a team of approximately 11 full-time employees, providing strong executive leadership and management.
