Job Title: Production Helper – Poultry Processing

Location: 225 Hubbard Ave, Butterfield, MN 56120

Pay: $16.45/hr + Daily & Weekly Overtime at 1.5x

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire (Union)

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Helpers to support poultry processing operations in a fast‑paced production environment. This hands‑on role includes cutting, processing, packaging, hanging hens onto conveyor lines, and assisting in various production areas. No experience is required—full training is provided. Reliable transportation support is available from Windom, Worthington, Mountain Lake , and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, process, and package chicken products according to production standards
• Support whole‑bird bagging and deboning operations
• Lift and handle 3–6 hens at a time from cages and hang them onto conveyors
• Assist in unloading, cleaning, and cutting departments as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and plant quality procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Meet production expectations and improve speed over time with lead support

Required Skills & Abilities

• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced , repetitive production environment
• Comfortable working with live poultry
• Ability to bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs , and stand for long periods
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Prior experience in food processing, meat production, or manufacturing
• General labor or packaging experience
• Forklift experience
