Job Description.
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for the overall health, configuration, governance, and ongoing support of the organization's SharePoint environment, including SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) and applicable on-premises deployments. This role serves as a critical bridge between technical architecture and end-user experience, ensuring collaboration platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Experience
5+ years of hands-on SharePoint Administration experience
Strong experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 (on-prem experience a plus)
Technical Skills
Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and bulk administration
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including:
o SharePoint
o Microsoft Teams
o OneDrive
o Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)
Experience with data migration tools such as:
o ShareGate
o SysTools
o Microsoft Migration Manager
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-300, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JSON for modern SharePoint customization
Experience with SQL Server administration or reporting
