Job Description

Frassati Catholic High School seeks a Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Courses will include all levels of Spanish, including AP Spanish Language and Culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in content area taught
At least 2 years of classroom experience, preferred
12 credit hours in education courses or a valid, appropriate state certificate
12 credit hours in each additional content area taught or successful completion of appropriate state certification exam
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Internet use for educational purposes and multimedia presentations

Bachelor's degree

24 credit hours in the primary content taught or at least one content area taught or successful
completion of appropriate state certification exam

Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, databases and Internet use for educational purposes and multimedia presentations

RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledgeable and supportive in word and action of the school's mission, vision and educational philosophy
Implement mission of the school through life witness
Working knowledge of school policies as they are articulated in the school's Handbooks
Demonstrate expertise in teaching methods and methodology
Demonstrate expertise in content area of teaching
Maintain student achievement records
Conduct parent conferences as scheduled and/or requested; maintain open communication with parents
Attend meetings as scheduled
Maintain classroom in such a way that is conducive to learning
Demonstrate care in lesson planning and execution
Represent the school in a positive way on and off the school campus
