Industry leader seeks an Environmental Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain environmental programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. responsibilities:
- Ensure the facility's compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials management
- Prepare and submit required environmental permits, reports, and documentation
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards
- Provide environmental input and guidance on capital projects and process changes
requirements:
- BS Environmental Engineering or related degree
- 3+ years of related experience from an industrial setting
- Team player mindset, but an independent problem solver
