Job Summary
The Financial Analyst (Entry Level) supports the Finance team by assisting with financial reporting, analysis, planning activities, as well as project related tasks. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is eager to build strong analytical skills, gain exposure to financial processes, and partner with business teams to support informed decision-making. The analyst will work with established processes, receive guidance from senior team members, and progressively take on more complex analysis as experience grows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
0 2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or entry-level finance roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work comfortably with numbers and data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems or ERP tools is a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with finance and non-finance partners
Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of routine financial reports, summaries, and dashboards to support management review
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities by validating data, performing basic variance analysis, and documenting results
Assist with data migration and accounting processes to the updated software architecture.
Collect, organize, and maintain financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
Partner with internal teams to respond to routine financial questions and data requests
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by Finance leadership
Follow established financial controls, policies, and documentation standards to support audit and compliance requirements
