Position: Software Quality Assurance Tester
Location: Remote - Austin, TX
Duration: 5 Months
Job Summary
- Lead and oversee daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division.
- Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
- Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases; document issues, test cases, results, and summaries.
- Perform manual testing and data validation to ensure software quality.
- Run SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data for testing purposes.
- Collaborate with development teams and customers to understand functionality and define/implement test automation.
- Execute performance and accessibility testing on software applications.
- Support the implementation of applications and projects for the Texas Education Agency.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) testing.
- Utilize various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., API testing, Junit, TestNG, WAPT Pro/Jmeter, Zypher Scale, Jira).
- Ensure thorough testing of complex web applications, APIs (SOAP and REST), and databases (SQL).
